FTDNA
If you tested with FTDNA, there are two quick alternative ways to join:
A) Click on the link below, and then enter your FTDNA kit number and password:

OR
B)
1. Log into your FTDNA personal page
2. Click on the "Join Project icon"
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of projects, and click on J (under the "Y haplogroup projects" heading)
4. Select J2 DNA group
Once you have done this, then you'll have joined the J2 Y-DNA group (and therefore the wider J2 Y-DNA project as well).
You'll then need to wait for me to manually add your results to the project. Before I do this I'll ask you how much information you want on the project website (eg. whether you want your haplotype displayed in public, or only in the members area, or not displayed at all).
Genographic project
Have you transfered your results to FTDNA?
If the answer is yes, then follow the FTDNA join instructions above.
If the answer is no, then first follow the instructions below:
1. Log into your genographic project results page
2. At the bottom of the page you should see a section headed "What else can I do with my results".

Click on "learn more". This will lead you to a series of pages to fill out - once you have done this then you will have successfully transferred your results to FTDNA. FTDNA will give you a sample number, and a password.
